When cybersecurity matters
This camera features cybersecurity provisions that are second to none. Axis Edge Vault, our hardware-based cybersecurity platform, safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access. Data at rest and in-transfer is encrypted with AES 256 and HTTPS with, respectively. And only authorized software works, thanks to secure boot. AXIS W102 is also CJIS compliant and lives up to official FBI standards for cybersecurity. On top of all that, for live streaming, you get full end-to-end XChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption.
Self-assign
By using self-assign, the camera user assigns and pick up any available body worn camera using an RFID tag. The user simply swipes their ID card or tag and will directly get a camera allocated and configured with the specific user information. When docking the camera, after the work shift, it automatically makes the camera available for the next user. This allows different work shifts to share a pool of cameras streamlining the number of cameras needed while keeping the possibility to have fully personalized user profiles. With self-assign you get the flexibility to install your system to best meet your specific needs. The docking stations can be placed either in the same room or in different locations, you decide. Independent of how your system is setup the assigned camera will always be where you scan the RFID tag.
