Flawlessly transmit 4K60 (4:4:4) video signals
Active Optical Cables: The Ultimate HDMI Solution
Active Optical Cables (AOCs) fundamentally change high-end AV by delivering ultra-high-bandwidth signals over long distances, solving a challenge that copper simply cannot meet. While bulky copper cables struggle to transmit 4K60 beyond five meters, a single, flexible AOC effortlessly handles HDMI 2.0 bandwidth (18 Gbps) across hundreds of meters. This superior range and performance eliminate the need for costly, complex modular extender kits that introduce multiple potential points of failure.
Uncompromised Quality and Reliability
AOCs ensure 4K60 resolution and support the complete HDMI 2.0 specification. This includes essential video features like HDR video for superb contrast, HDCP 2.2 content protection for displaying premium content, and support for advanced color spaces like BT.2020. For audio, the cables provide an immersive, theater-quality sound experience, supporting formats like DTS-HD and Dolby Digital True HD Surround Sound, transmitting up to 32 audio channels, and including the Audio Return Channel (ARC).
Installation is pure plug-and-play - no external power, software, or extra hardware is needed. A technician only needs to connect the cable to the source and display. This simple, all-in-one design guarantees premium reliability compared to multi-component extender setups.
Ease of Installation
Beyond performance, AOCs are designed for simplicity in installation. They are significantly thinner, lighter, and more flexible than traditional copper. Their superior bend radius makes routing them through tight spaces and around corners easy, reducing the risk of signal degradation. This makes managing clutter much simpler in complex setups like video walls. Plus, they are lightweight - a 10-meter AOC weighs less than 300 grams compared to a kilogram for five meters of copper; this makes pulling them through ceilings and walls easier and less likely to cause damage.
